2Q - Is there a guide available with what is required by Land Registry to create a compliant lease plan?

3Q - How long will they take to produce?

A - After having arranged access to the property and carrying out our site survey we aim to deliver our plans to you within 3 days. Completed plans will be emailed to you for approval first.  You have 14 days to agree any amendments or changes. 

4Q - What is a Land Registry Compliant Lease Plan?

A - A Land Registry Compliant Lease Plan is a legal requirement when either a property or piece of land is sold or let in the UK.  If unsure as to whether you require a plan for your particular sale or let, please contact us direct and we will be happy to confirm.

5Q – What is a title plan?

A – A title plan is comprised of a section of Ordnance Survey map with a red line which outlines the extent of the general property boundaries.  Normally this is only required when a property is first registered, or if there has been an amendment to the overall boundaries. 

6Q – What is a transfer plan?

A – More commonly referred to as either a TR1 or TP1.  Transfer plans are required where the ownership of property is transferred from one owner to another. The transfer plan will detail the areas being transferred, thus giving the new owner full rights and responsibilities to the property.
